home sweet home

We made it back from our trip. We spent five nights in Paris and five nights in Germany and what an experience it was. It's funny how you can wait for such a long time for something and then once it comes, that moment just flies by. Similar to our wedding day. You wait and get worked up about it for months, then it happens and just like that, it's over. That's why it's so important to enjoy and take in every moment while it's happening.

We saw the most beautiful sights, from buildings, churches, shops, museums, and of course the Eiffel Tower, which is breathtaking in person I have to say. Pictures do not do it justice.

I am so appreciative of travelling and having this type of opportunity, but with that I am also happy to be home. I always miss the smell of our home, the comfort of my own bed and the wind that blows off the lake.

Now to go through and edit all the pictures and share them with all of you very soon.

Bon week end mes ami(e)s!
