Lately getting dressed in the morning has been feeling like such a chore. Our cold winter days make it almost impossible not to go to work in fleeced pyjamas. As soon as it warms up a couple of degrees I immediately throw on one of my summer dresses with tights underneath. Oh how I am ready for the warmer days!

One specific dress that I purchased before the Christmas holidays has given me that pyjama like feeling without the frumpy and, well pj look. The material has a super soft touch and is not clingy which is important when wearing tights. The cut is perfect as it can be worn with a belt to create more of a waist line or simply throw a fitted crew neck on top for a completely different look. What I love most about this dress, besides the comfort, is the length and faux leather trim. The length makes it office appropriate but when needing a slightly shorter version I simply pair with a skinny belt and pull the top up over it, again creates an overall different look. The trim on the shoulders adds just enough edge so that the dress does not look too casual. It's a great and easy outfit for the office. I paired it with black liner, nude lips and focused more on my brows. Keeping my hair simple and not fussy.

It's definitely become one of my winter office wear staples but I'm ready to hang it up for now and throw on a maxi and open toe sandals.
