Chez vous || Sarah Birnie

Can I live here please? I love our home and all that it holds and although I can easily put together an outfit I have to admit that interior decorating may not be my thing. I really wish it was and my husband says I try really hard. This creative lady on the other hand has the special touch. Sarah Birnie, new and upcoming interior decorator has pretty much nailed it when it comes to making a home resemble a small museum. Carefully placing items without making it looked "too staged" and combining her personal style of vintage treasures and chic pieces makes this a comfortable, unique and most definitely pleasing to the eye space with tons of character. Mixing various prints and patterns as well as textures seems to be her speciality. Also can we talk about that antique secretary desk {which belonged to her great great grandfather} used as a bar? génial!

Her biggest inspirations? Nate Berkus, India Hicks, Kelly Wearstler as well as design bloggers she follows. She also shares that she is constantly inspired while travelling.

I could easily make myself comfortable in her living room with a good book and hot cup of coffee.
Thanks Sarah for sharing your home with us and to the lovely photographer Justina for capturing it.
