Here she shares what she loves during and after pregnancy! Enjoy.

Hiya Le Closet Friends....
When Alyssa and I decided to Guest Blog for each other, I kind of panicked...You see her blog reflects herself; beautiful, chic & classic...Her fashion sense is above and beyond & I’m lucky if I can go the day without wanting to tear my bra off You see I’m 8 months pregnant, work a full-time job in management and have a 1 year old so my life, like my blog reflects me; chaotic, outrageous & a real look on how I cope as a new mum...
So, Le Closet friends, since Alyssa brings to you amazing fashion, makeup & other thoughts, I will share with you what I know best...Being pregnant {I feel a bit of an expert now being pregnant twice in 2 years} and surviving that first year with a baby...

I used this with both pregnancies & have had no stretch marks... It is all natural & that became really important to me during my pregnancies...It has a nice grapefruit and lavender scent and also is great for itchy bellies...

2. A body pillow
Trust me on this one ladies...It becomes your best friend & all you want at night is to snuggle with this & find some sort of comfort...Especially near the end of your pregnancy when sleeping is such a challenge...Any kind & any make will do...

3. Clothes that make you feel good pregnant
I was lucky with my first and had the larger stages of pregnancy in the summer- so I lived in Maxi Dresses...This time it will be fall/winter but I have made sure to find outfits that I still feel good in...Remember you are absolutely beautiful pregnant no matter what! But dressing & feeling good makes a world of difference...

4. Dr. Hauschka skin care line
Again, because I felt it was really important to use natural products during my pregnancies, I really researched and wanted a brand that was 100% natural. There are so many different brands/products out there but I found the Dr. Hauschka line worked best for my skin and I would highly recommend their mom & baby products.

With my first pregnancy my skin was flawless but with this second one and it being a baby girl my skin has been prone to breaking out... I’ve searched high and low for a foundation that worked well for my skin and this by far has been the best option for me...As a bonus it is natural, has a SPF built-in and it provides just enough coverage...

1. Curved Nail Scissors
You will notice that your new little bundle of joy has long, fast growing nails...I couldn’t do what some mums suggested, either rip or bite the nails down...So I found these curved nail scissors that are super safe on babies as it is impossible to cut too much especially on a wiggly little hand...

2. Jolly jumper
Whoever invented this, God Bless you...This was a lifesaver for me with my son...He absolutely loved it and would spend ages in it if I let him...Now, your babe might not be a fan, so I would recommend finding something that he/she loves in order to give you a moment’s peace...A swing, exerciser, whatever it may be- you just need to find something that allows you to put that baby down and have a second...For me this was my lifesaver...

I tried many different kinds of diaper creams with my son and loved this Phthalate- and paraben-free Burts Bee one...My only complaint is it’s hard to get out of the squeeze bottle and ideally they make it in a tub like tube soon...

I absolutely LOVE this monitor...seeing my little guy while he is in his crib has brought much comfort, amusement & relief to this first time mum...I would highly recommend investing in a video monitor and this company allows you to purchase another video that links with your current monitor, so if like me you find you need a second camera for another baby...So, I can scan back and forth between the two cribs with the one video screen...

5.A Bassinet
If breastfeeding those first few weeks are such a blur because you are in a constant cycle of feeding, sleeping and changing your new baby...For me having the baby right beside me in a bassinet was so much easier than getting up to a crib in a separate room. I also found being a new mum, that I wanted my little one as close to me as possible when sleeping and having a bassinet right beside my bed made that possible...

And as a bonus favourite thing...I must say a good puppy is a must beforehand...During my pregnancy my Bugg {Boston Terrier/Pug} stayed by my side and constantly rested his head on my belly and kept me company...Now, watching my one year old grow up with a best friend has been priceless...
